… our second project for the industrial enterprise - after realization of the company's headquarters in Essen (see also business projects "Headquarters International Industrial Enterprise / Germany).
In the centre of Düsseldorf, in a building constructed in the year 1983, the top floor (total space approx. 260 m²) was fully gutted and entirely rebuilt for the company's executive board according to our designs and under our supervision of the building work.
Design concept: Corporate identity and - naturally including the company colour blue - the corporate design of the company, previously designed in a landmark concept for the office building in Essen - here modified, styled in an even stricter and more straight-lined arrangement.
Three blue shades combined with shining white and the company product "aluminium" constitute the colour concept.
Executive secretariat, waiting zone, office area, conference room, men's/ladies WC, archives and kitchen: Individual designs and special manufactures, such as washstands, waiting zone, desks, panels, conference table, kitchen.....
Other equipments like blinds of the windows, upholstered furniture, seating, etc. were realized by our trade company UB HOME GmbH and the manufacturers Walter Knoll, Creation Baumann, Vitra and USM Haller.............
The cast epoxy resin floor in white, blue and grey was manufactured by Betonlook / Recklingshausen.
Demolition, dry construction and interior work: Seibel and Weyer / Bottrop.
Lighting, EIB BUS system: LichtbyHorst and Eletrotechnik Beckmüller / both Düsseldorf.
